Our Company
Our company Absolute Build is an independent construction company with extensive experience in both residential and commercial projects. We started the business in Auckland in 2004 and relocated it to Kerikeri in the Far North in 2007.
We offer design and building which can be contracted individually or together to provide a full service from concept to completion.
Driven by a quality ethos, we consider open communication and trust essential to delivering a great result.
We have a core team of five but can expand the team for larger projects. As Licensed Building Practitioners and members of the Certified Builder’s Association, we build to the most exacting standards and our work is backed with a ten year guarantee.

Mark Todd - NZQA Builder, Licensed Building Practitioner, Certified Builder
Mark has over 20 years’ experience as a builder. He did his apprenticeship in Auckland and after working on a broad range of construction, he and wife Natalie started their own company.. The couple moved to Kerikeri in 2007 where the business quickly began to grow.
In addition to being Trade Qualified, Mark is a Licensed Building Practitioner which enables him to work on government and commercial projects. His role as the Vice President of the Bay of Islands Certified Builders Association ensures he stays abreast of current industry standards and practises.
Outside of work, Mark is a keen fisherman and diver.
He also coaches junior rugby and cricket.
Natalie Todd – Nat.Dip Architectural Technology, Licensed Building Practitioner, Member of Certified Builder’s Association
Natalie has over 15 years’ experience as a draughtsman. In addition to designing new homes, she has considerable commercial experience including health care and aged care projects and multi-dwelling developments.
A Licensed Building Practitioner and member of the Certified Builder’s Association Natalie maintains an extensive network of specialist engineers and consultants.
The busy mother of two has little spare time but enjoys keeping fit, cooking and gardening.
